Aerotek Maintenance Mechanic - Direct Hire in SAN DIEGO, California

Job Details:

  • Barrio Logan

  • Monday - Friday

  • 8 hour shifts

  • $38.93/hr

Description:

  • Ideal candidate may have experience from oil industry (refineries)

  • Equipment that moves "dry" product with transfer fans, moving dust like product (pumps and fans that transfer dust or liquid)

  • The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the mechanical equipment throughout the site to insure minimal disruption to the production process.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Work order assignments get scope of work for your day, executing repairs and PM’s,

  • Troubleshooting failed pieces of equip,

  • Types/manufacturers of pumps: Goulds, Durco, and Moyno pumps (positive displacement, centrifugal, and very few parasitotic

  • Crane operation

  • Aligning drive shafts and driven shaft with dial indicators or laser alignment tool (vertical and horizontal offsets)

  • Gallons per minute (GPM) / Flow rate
