Insight Global Manager, Land Surveying and Mapping in San Diego, California

Job Description

An Employer in the San Diego area is looking for a Surveying/Mapping Project Manager for an office role. The company has an immediate opening for an office position as a Survey Mapping Project Manager. We are seeking a motivated individual, to join the team of talented professionals, and play a vital role in our continued success, while being provided the opportunity for exceptional growth and career advancement. Plan, organize, prepare and lead the processing of surveying and mapping related documents with local governmental agencies. Have in depth knowledge of subdivision mapping, including final and parcel maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, ALTA's etc. Receive conventional and GPS field survey data and process, organize, document and export data. Demonstrate knowledge of surveying practices and field methods as well as the principles of mapping subdivision maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, condominium plans, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.

Skills and Requirements

  • Minimum 3-6+ year experience in surveying/mapping under a licensed surveyor

  • Licensed Surveyor (PLS) or LSIT (Land Surveyor in Training)

  • Experienced in drafting Plats and Legal Descriptions

  • Advanced in AutoCAD Civil 3D

  • Experienced in survey and coordinate geometry related calculations.

  • Knowledge and experience in the preparation of Survey related documents including subdivision maps, record of surveys, legal descriptions, condominium plans, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys. - Field Survey experience

  • Trimble Business Center

  • ArcGIS

  • FAA Part 107 Registration

  • Pix4D

  • Revit null
