Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Marine Welders for projects located in San Diego, CA . This is an opportunity with multiple shifts available and the pay rate is up to $40/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

• Weld shell plating, fabricated cast or forged components for vessels, tanks or other structural assemblies

• Working with carbon electrodes to cut, shape and groove metal

• May prepare work place for welding by cleaning and or preheating

• Examine weld sizes of weld beads

• Remove scraps and ensure work area is clean and safe

Requirements

• Must have OSHA 10, Maritime and Fire-Watch Certifications

• Must be US Citizen

• Must be able to pass a drug screening and background check

• Must be able to pass a vision test

• Must be able to work at heights, in confined spaces and any assigned shift

• Must comprehend written and verbal instructions in English

• Must have knowledge of welding characteristics of metal
