Material Handler

Job Description

Accurate and timely transfer of production materials into and from storage areas. Performs daily cycle count including any reconciliation. Quality record keeping is essential for keeping accurate inventory records. Receives all materials into storage areas in a timely fashion. Supports all business operations with timely and orderly material pulls. Keeps storage areas clean, neat, and orderly to minimize operating safety hazards. Follows all safety guidelines and wears required safety equipment. Delivery of FedEx and UPS throughout the facility. Interfacing with all different departments including Planning, Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Team Members. Participates in design, implementation, testing, and maintenance methods and processes developed and executed in a manner that supports all quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and timely transfer production materials into and from storage areas.

• Perform daily cycle counts, including any necessary reconciliation.

• Maintain accurate inventory records through quality record keeping.

• Receive all materials into storage areas promptly.

• Support business operations with timely and orderly material pulls.

• Keep storage areas clean, neat, and orderly to minimize operating safety hazards.

• Follow all safety guidelines and wear required safety equipment.

• Deliver FedEx and UPS packages throughout the facility.

• Interface with various departments including Planning, Production, Shipping, Receiving, and Quality Team Members.

• Participate in the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of methods and processes that support quality standards.

Work Environment

This position operates on the 1st shift from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Overtime is common, with up to 1 hour of overtime per day currently offered to all employees. The work environment includes storage areas and requires the use of safety equipment. Employees will interface with multiple departments within the facility.

This is a Contract position based out of San Diego, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00
