Description

We are seeking a professional and compassionate Medical Receptionist to join our client's healthcare team. You will be the first point of contact for our patients, setting the tone for their experience in the facility. This role requires excellent administrative skills and a personable demeanor.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist patients upon arrival, ensuring a positive and welcoming environment.

• Answer and direct incoming calls in a professional and friendly manner.

• Schedule patient appointments, maintaining an organized and up-to-date schedule.

• Compile and record patient records while maintaining confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and satisfaction.

• Process patient payments.

  Requirements

• Prior experience in a healthcare setting or as a Receptionist is preferred.

• Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus.

• Basic understanding of patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.

• Excellent organizational, communication and multitasking skills.

• Proficient in use of medical software systems and Microsoft suite.

• High School degree; further education in medical administration is a plus
