Description

We are seeking a contract or contract-to-hire Contract Payroll Assistant to join our team and support an important payroll project with a large San Diego non-profit organization. This is a full-time contract opportunity that begins immediately and will last for the duration of the project. This is an immediate, contract-to-hire opportunity near downtown San Diego.

The ideal candidate will have payroll experience, and strong comfortability with systems, pulling, and analyzing data for a very large payroll department.

Responsibilities:

• Export payroll data from one time system into Excel to generate reports.

• Interpret and analyze data to ensure accuracy.

• Assist with data entry and other payroll tasks as needed.

• Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.

• Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.

  Requirements

• Previous experience in payroll, including understanding of labor laws and time entries.

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
