Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Physical Therapist I - Physical Therapy in San Diego, California

JOB SUMMARY:

Independently evaluates the movement ability of patients through the administration and interpretation of standardized tests, clinical observation, and patient/family interview. Creates

individualized treatment plans and home exercise programs and provides patient/family training. Develops and implements innovative and specific treatment plans to maximize the patient's functional potential or return to previous level of functioning, based on clinical findings. Consults with medical team and allied health professionals and documents all pertinent clinical findings to render a comprehensive, family-based or individual intervention plan

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

BLS for Health Providers (AHA)

Physical Therapist

Valid California driver's license and auto insurance required when applicable.

Current California license in PT, or eligible if new grad or licensed in another state.

Bachelor's degree in lieu of Master's degree, if graduated prior to 2000

Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division and organizational priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Doctorate Degree (non MD)

Pediatric experience

The expected hiring range for this position is $39.51 to $54.33.
