About the Company:

Our client, a leading mortgage consulting firm in San Diego, CA, is looking for a driven and detail-oriented Sales Support Specialist to join their growing team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to transition into a Loan Officer role within 6-12 months, with comprehensive training and support to help you succeed in the mortgage industry.

Job Description:

As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in assisting the sales team and ensuring smooth operations throughout the mortgage loan process. This role will allow you to interact with clients, provide exceptional customer service, and support Loan Officers with sales-related administrative tasks. You will be trained to eventually take on the responsibilities of a Loan Officer as you grow in the role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide sales support to Loan Officers by managing client communications, answering questions, and addressing inquiries.

  • Assist in preparing loan applications, gathering documentation, and ensuring accuracy in customer files.

  • Maintain client relationships through follow-up, ensuring a seamless experience from inquiry to loan closing.

  • Educate clients on mortgage products, services, and processes.

  • Collaborate with the sales team to meet performance goals and ensure customer satisfaction.

  • Stay updated on mortgage industry trends and product knowledge.

  • Participate in ongoing training to develop into a Loan Officer within 6-12 months.

    Requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred.

  • Strong interest in sales and the mortgage industry, with a desire to grow into a Loan Officer role.

  • Excellent communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.

  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, sales-driven environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
