Intuit Senior Content Designer in San Diego, California

Overview

TurboTax is hiring a senior-level content designer who is confident owning the end-to-end content strategy and execution on AI-first tax prep for our Reimagined Tax Experience team.

What you'll bring

Ideal candidate will:

  • Have demonstrated experience writing UX content for complex software products (min. 3 years exp).

  • Have genAI content strategy and design experience, demonstrated across a range of AI solutions.

  • Collaborate with your cross-functional team, and thrive in a focused, iterative design environment.

  • Write spot-on content for every screen, choosing the right tone, structure, and voice.

  • Value the balance of words to visual elements, content density, and highlighting customer benefit.

  • Demonstrate your understanding of design strategy, data guidance, and research inputs.

  • Show us how you’ve solved problems while also driving conversion and revenue.

Required skills:

  • UX writing skills: 3-5 years’ experience as content designer or UX writer, working on consumer software products. Tools include Figma, or similar.

  • Collaboration: Experience working closely with product designers, user research, engineering, analytics and other cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Initiative: Ability to manage own projects; work within tight time deadlines; and comfortable receiving, responding to, and incorporating feedback.

  • Bachelor’s degree or commensurate experience

Nice-to-haves:

  • Experience writing for AI, tax, customer service, or other fintech products.

  • Experience with UX design and user research practices.

How you will lead

In this role you’ll focus on crafting the next evolution of tax prep by bridging AI-first capabilities and human-directed voice and tone. You’ll also work across functions, teams, and business units to create seamless, intuitive, and scalable end-to-end experiences.
