How you will make an impact

The Senior Specialist 1, Quality Systems maintains the overall training program for Halozyme. In this role, you will lead training including new hire onboarding and work on the development and implementation of a new, more efficient employee training program. You will maintain and report on the compliance of the quality training program and assess training processes for continuous improvements while establishing training effectiveness measures that support Quality and training goals to build a stronger quality culture, and ensure processes associated with the training system are compliant with internal and external regulations, procedures, and standards.

In this role, youll have the opportunity to:

  • Identify and assess the training needs of the organization through job analysis and consultation with managers.
  • Facilitate training assignments to affected personnel through the document control approval process.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create, develop, and deploy training.
  • Report on training compliance and effectiveness to Management.
  • Provide training on the Quality Management System and additional topics including current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
  • Support document control activities within the Quality Management System.

To succeed in this role, youll need:

  • Minimum of Bachelors Degree in business, life science or related field of study with at least 5 years of experience in the development, configuration, and administration of training systems, specifically in a regulated environment
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of GMP, ISO, QSR, and other applicable international regulations, standards, Directives, and Guidance
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite applications including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook, as well as basic proficiency in Adobe Acrobat
  • Experience with electronic document/learning management systems.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as technical writing and documentation skills
  • Strong organizational and project management skills

The most likely base pay range for this position is $86K - $129K per year. Several factors, such as xperience, tenure, skills, and particular business needs, will determine an individuals exact level of compensation. Base salary is only one element of employee compensation at Halozyme. Total compensation could include bonuses, sales incentives, and equity awards.
