Description

As part of the Energy Services Engineering team you will be responsible for helping to build robust, highly scalable services that support millions of users. You’ll also have the opportunity to be involved with early development investigations, prototypes, and 3rd party integrations. You’ll work with passionate problem solvers, designing and building impactful, outstanding services for one of Apple's most innovative spaces. Minimum Qualifications

Key Qualifications

  • Experience with Java, Kotlin, or similar

  • Comfortable building backend web services

  • Prior experience integrating services with 3rd party APIs

  • Worked with NoSQL Databases

  • Able to work with cross-functional partners to define product objectives

Preferred Qualifications

Education & Experience

4+ years relevant industry experience in Software Engineering, or equivalent.

Additional Requirements

  • Preferred experience with the following, but not required:

    • Built large scale distributed systems
    • Work with data pipelines
    • Python experience
    • Domain knowledge of the electrical grid or renewable energy

Pay & Benefits

  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $131,500 and $243,300, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Apple employees also have the opportunity to become an Apple shareholder through participation in Apple’s discretionary employee stock programs. Apple employees are eligible for discretionary restricted stock unit awards, and can purchase Apple stock at a discount if voluntarily participating in Apple’s Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
