Rady Children's Hospital San Diego Speech Pathologist II (Per-Diem) - Speech in San Diego, California

JOB SUMMARY:

At Rady Children's Outpatient Speech-Language Pathology Department, the primary focus of our Speech-Language Pathologists is early intervention for children 0 to 3 years of age, oftentimes on the autism spectrum, as well as medically complex children. Speech-Language Pathologists evaluate children with speech, language, cognitive, feeding/swallowing, and auditory impairments and provide specialized therapy to develop their language skills.

Speech-Language Pathologists craft family-centered, innovative treatment plans through onsite and virtual visits to improve the patient's functional potential. In fact, innovation is such a meaningful part of who we are that our team regularly presents outcome studies at national conferences.

We provide multiple opportunities for growth and advancement, including in-house continuing education credits (up to 10 CEUs per year!), and opportunities to train in different specialties. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Master's Degree

3 Years of Experience

ASHA - Speech Lang Path

BLS for Health Providers (AHA)

Speech Lang Pathologist Lic

Ability and experience working independently, using critical thinking skills and processes to arrive at objective, strategic, results-oriented decisions within the context of patient care and department, division, and organizational priorities.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Specialty certification in Speech Pathology advanced practice

Pediatric experience

The expected hiring range for this position is $48.03 to $66.06
