John Asdell with Robert Half is partnering with a high-growth technology company that is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to join a dynamic team. This late-stage startup technology company has experienced explosive growth in both their government and commercial business, with further expansion on the horizon. Consequently, the company is building out its FP& A function to accommodate the current and future needs of the business. As a Senior Analyst, you will play a key role in shaping the financial landscape of our organization by focusing on the development and maintenance of comprehensive financial models. The role offers a hybrid work schedule along with excellent cash compensation and equity opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Modeling:

• Design, build, and maintain intricate financial models to forecast various aspects of the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet.

• Conduct scenario analysis and sensitivity testing to provide strategic insights for decision-making.

Budgeting and Forecasting:

• Partner with department leaders to analyze actual financial metrics, prepare budgets, and contribute to forecasting efforts.

• Actively participate in the creation of the Annual Operating Plan and long-range financial planning.

Financial Analysis:

• Analyze complex financial and operational data, providing accurate and timely recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.

  Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

• 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, with a focus on creating financial models.

• Familiarity with the technology and/or government contracting sector is desirable but not required.

• Proven experience in building and maintaining sophisticated financial models.
