Description

This role is focused on public procurement and contracting within a rapidly evolving industry. The position is based in San Diego, California and offers a long-term opportunity to be a part of a well-known public entity. The role is in-office 2x per week in Downtown San Diego, and work from home 3x per week.

Responsibilities:

• Implementing and managing procurement processes to ensure efficiency

• Organizing, reviewing, and routing contracts for signatures

• Assisting with editing and keeping track of requests for edits

• Reviewing the final product after redlines for accuracy and completeness

• Serving as a gatekeeper to various internal entities, ensuring smooth operation

• Assisting with tasks related to the governing board and committees

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in the role of a Sr. Paralegal or Contracts Manager

• Proficiency in handling all aspects of procurement.

• Extensive knowledge of Commercial Contracts and Federal Contracts

• Ability to draft, redline, and negotiate various contracts.

• Experience working for public agencies/entities is a huge plus!
