Position Summary

As a Product Management Intern at Bristol Myers Squibb, you will work at the intersection of data, research, science, and design to support the development and launch of innovative products that improve patient outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and researchers, to help drive product strategy and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and define product requirements based on the strategic vision of the product and the needs of our customers

  • Conduct market research identify opportunities for product enhancements and new features based on user needs

  • Develop and manage product roadmap, clearly articulating the business value to the product team and users

  • Collaborate with product management, IT, and Research teams to ensure alignment between customer needs, business goals, and product functionality

  • Monitor and analyze product metrics and customer usage patterns to inform product improvements

  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on product strategy and roadmaps

  • Assist in the creation of product documentation and user manuals

  • Assist in the coordination of product launches and ongoing product management activities

Qualifications & Experience

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Strong Business System Analysis skills

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Strong understanding of product management tools

  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills

  • Software and system design skills

  • Strong understanding of Enterprise and Cloud Architecture

  • Strong understanding of database technologies and uses (S3, MongoDB, SQL etc.)

  • Must be comfortable interacting with people conducting interviews while gathering information and presenting

  • Must be comfortable with creating and showcasing presentations

  • Must be comfortable with synthesizing large amounts of vast information from multiple sources without bias

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

  • Familiarity with product management methodologies and tools is a plus

  • Passion for healthcare and improving patient outcomes

The starting compensation for this job is a range from $21.00/hour - $29.00/hour. The starting pay rate takes into account characteristics of the job, such as required skills and the geographic location where work is performed. Final individual compensation is decided commensurate with demonstrated experience and education level.
