Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description - will be working in a freezer

The warehouse worker contributes to the efficient operation of the warehouse by providing labor support to the Branch Office. Warehouse workers perform a range of general and specific tasks that can be easily learned on the job, such as receiving, stocking, assembling, staging, loading, and unloading products.

• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrapping, boxing, labeling).

• Order picking off paper sheets for next day purchase orders/work orders to ensure that products are correctly assembled and ready for delivery.

• Load finished product onto truck (rice, flour, cups, packages, etc.).

• Unload product from truck, container and stock them in the designated area.

• Responsible for quality control. Ensure that no damaged products are sent out, and no damaged product will be stored.

• Operate within standard operating procedures.

• Handle inventory movement into and out of controlled locations.

• Prepare customers’ orders for delivery.

• Provide fill-in support for other departments in the warehouse.

• Other duties as assigned.

Work Environment

Clean distribution warehouse with 5 people total. Drivers are out majority of the days doing deliveries. 3 different temperature controlled sections in the warehouse (Freezer, Deli, and Main Room Temperature). Steel toed boots required. Typical work week is Monday-Friday (standard 40 hours per week) 8:00am-5:00pm.
