Description We are in search of a meticulous and experienced Bookkeeper to join our team based in San Dimas, California. The successful candidate will be accountable for tasks such as processing customer credit applications, maintaining customer credit records, and resolving credit inquiries. This role also involves monitoring customer credit accounts and initiating actions to collect overdue payments.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently process customer credit applications, ensuring accuracy in all processes

• Maintain up-to-date and precise customer credit records

• Address and resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and professional manner

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and identify any overdue payments

• Initiate appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments and maintain the financial health of the company

• Conduct account reconciliations and manage accounts payable and receivable

• Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial data is correct

• Utilize Microsoft Excel for data entry and other bookkeeping tasks

• Handle month-end close procedures and manage local income and expense accounts

• Utilize Sage MAS 90 for various bookkeeping tasks

• Manage billing for the company and ensure all invoices are sent out on time. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Bookkeeper role or similar

• Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Bank Reconciliations and Bookkeeping

• Must have strong Data Entry skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required

• Must have experience in Month End Close operations

• Knowledge of Local Income and Expense Account management

• Experience with Sage MAS 90 software is a plus

• Previous experience in Billing is required

• Must have excellent communication and organizational skills

• Must be detail-oriented and able to multi-task effectively

• Should possess strong problem-solving abilities and analytical skills

• Must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• A degree in Finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
