In this role, you will perform amended filing functions as assigned. Meets both quality and production standards established for this level. Respond to Agency, Payroll Center and Client inquiries in a professional and timely manner. Monitor established turnaround guidelines.

What you’ll do:

File/original and late original tax returns timely in accordance with Agency, Region and Client requirements.

Research client, agency and payroll center inquiries and respond in a timely, accurate and professional manner.

Complete special projects as assigned by supervisor.

Assist in training of new employees and procedures.

Develops and updates current filing/research records and procedure.

Telephone contact with internal and external areas.

Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:

Thorough knowledge of research and filing procedures and resources.

Thorough knowledge of the automated tax system.

Strong analytical and mathematical skills.

Meets deadlines with accuracy.

Organizational skills are a must.

Good written and verbal communication skills.

You can work overtime hours during peak seasons upon approval.

A college degree is great but not required. What's more important is having the skills to do the job. Other acceptable experiences could include:

High School diploma required

At least 4 quarter ends of multi-jurisdiction filing experience.

Experience noted above, OR

Military experience where skills including teamwork, adaptability, organization, and follow-through will help you build team and client relationships, identify solutions, and achieve success.

Base salary offers for this position may vary based on factors such as location, skills, and relevant experience. Some positions may include additional compensation in the form of bonus, equity or commissions. The compensation for this role is $15.00 - $27.98 / Hour
