We are in the retail industry, specifically dealing with clothes and accessories, and are situated in San Francisco, California. We are seeking an Accounting Manager/Supervisor to join our team. The role will involve overseeing all accounting operations, including tasks related to accounting software systems, enterprise resource planning, and financial services.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for timely completion of month and year-end financial reporting close

• Prepare account reconciliations and manual journal entries

• Responsible for monthly close process for inventory, COGS, landed cost and related inventory variance and accrual accounts

• Partner with Operations on the execution of the cycle count process for inventory at the physical locations

• Partner with Engineering to implement inventory module in NetSuite

• Understand and review sales tax and VAT rules to ensure the compliance with the local tax agencies

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement and risks

• Providing management with information key to the decision-making process

• Lead GL team including hiring, training and performance evaluations

• Assist in annual audit and tax reporting

• Ad hoc projects and analyses as needed

  Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of work experience as an Accounting Manager

• Excellent computer skills; experience in NetSuite, Microsoft Office Suite and Google Suite

• E-Commerce industry experience, a plus

• CPA, a plus

• Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or a related field
