ACCOUNTING MANAGER

Stable company (been in the business for 45 years) is searching for an Operations Accounting Manager with strong Accounts Receivable experience who is eager to make a positive impact on our company’s future. You will be managing a team that handles our operational accounting requirements including Accounts Receivable, Billing and Sales Contract Processing. The successful candidate will be one who can prioritize and manage multiple accounting processes within a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

POSITION SUMMARY: The Operations Accounting Manager overseas and is directly involved in the operational accounting aspects of running our established and profitable company. The position directly reports to the CEO and works closely with the Vice President, Finance. Together with our Service Department, the Accounting Department is central to our company and actively works every day with both internal and external customers.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Manages Operational Accounting platform: Banking, Accounts Receivable and Inventory Management/Control

· Supervises a team of 3 to manage contract administration client billings, collections, ACH, Credit Card and Check payments

· Works with our CEO, Vice President, Finance and Service Manager as needed

· Manages A/R monthly closing and generates multiple reports for the CEO and Vice President, Finance

· Works with various vendors including our back-office systems suppliers, parts and equipment distributors, uniform providers, etc.

· Responds to customer requests (internal and external) in a prompt, professional and courteous manner

· Exercises judgment in resolving client billing or pricing problems

· Calculates employee commissions based on A/R details

· Works with consultants to file the annual property taxes for rental equipment

· Supports annual audits

· Encourages and assists staff in developing more efficient and effective processes

· Manages Employee payroll time collection

· Generates the disposed equipment reports annually

· Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

-Degree in Accounting/Finance

-Over 10 years of progressive accounting experience

-Experience managing AR functions

-Strong supervisory experience
