Job Description
Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Program Controls Analyst to work on large-scale portfolio of programs for a High-tech confidential client, to support and execute an array of strategic and operational real estate development efforts
Responsibilities:
Provide support to the Program Controls Manager throughout the program's yearly lifecycle.
Work with executive client stakeholders to review, develop, and record current “best practice” processes and procedures
Track, maintain, analyse budgets and report monthly/quarterly trends.
Develop monthly cash flow analysis
Assist the client with procurement sprints and contract management.
Provide quality control and assurance of all program contracts
Assist in the preparation of monthly program controls reports and other progress reports to the client
Create, maintain and follow a program schedule detailing when stakeholder meetings will be needed, when reviews will be necessary and an overall plan.
Create and maintain cost tracking tools
Review vendor proposals to provide industry and benchmarking analysis
Analyzing existing cost data and producing benchmark information.
Weekly reporting to the client.
Meet and negotiate costs with contractors.
Reconciling actual costs with contract pricing.
Provide input into value engineering exercises.
Providing support to the Program Leaders in managing program level data.
Checking program compliance requirements are documented in accordance with client governance policies.
Document control.
Ensure QA/QC is being followed.
Undertaking deep dive analysis of live data to identify outliers, trends, and calculate key performance measures.
Analyzing program performance metrics and tracking action plans.
Respond to ad hoc requests for data and reports.
Tracking cost review requests as they are submitted by the client.
Preparing documents as required by the team.
Qualifications
A minimum of 2 years working experience in project controls, project management or cost management, data management and deep dive analysis.
Experience with a client facing role.
Experience managing program and/or OPEX budgets, preferred but not required
College degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite applications.
Advanced skills with spreadsheets, charts, and presentations.
Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate with people at all levels of the organization
Drive to be proactive and self-motivated.
The tenacity and ambition inject value and create solutions.
Ability to develop good working relationships with project teams.
Experience with client specific systems.
Good organization skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be a team player.
Passion and enthusiasm for construction and numbers!
Strong analytical skills and proficiency using spreadsheets.
Additional Information
The salary range for this full-time role is $100K-$125K per year. Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate’s experience and qualifications.
