We currently have an opening for an EDRS Specialist for our Tulip Family Care Center in San Francisco, CA. This position works remotely.

Overview & Responsibilities:

• Works with doctors, coroners, and the state to register deaths with the state quickly, before sharing permits back with the team

• Ensures any paperwork received has been filled out to a high enough standard, working with family care and doctors to correct inaccurate information

• Becomes an expert at using state and internal systems to efficiently register deaths

• Spots opportunities for automation and improvement

• Works methodically through cases, oldest to newest

• Identifies problem cases early and takes corrective steps

• Builds close relationships with the doctors and nurses

• Performs efficiently in communications - one phone call is better than two

  Requirements & Qualifications:

• California electronic death registration system certified

• Minimum one year of experience using EDRS
