We are seeking an Events Manager to manage a critical B2B trade show execution as part of the Experiential Marketing Team.

A successful candidate will be an organized, self-starter with a minimum of 5 years of related trade show/B2B events experience supporting the sales and marketing organizations in the fast-paced technology industry. This position is an ideal role for someone who enjoys planning events with strategic goals, delivering business impact, and rallying a diverse A-team of perspectives to bring amazing experiences to life. The position requires an individual that is resourceful, solution-oriented, and naturally takes ownership, builds collaborative environments, and demonstrates responsibility for their assigned programs in-full.

The winning candidate must have a team mentality, leading cross-functional teams with empathy while balancing complex program deliverables on tight timelines and budgets. The right candidate doesn't shy away from high-visibility projects and is a skilled master of multi-tasking and prioritization in a fast-paced environment with close attention to detail, eagerly meeting our high brand and experiential standards.

The individual in this role must also demonstrate the ability to work with confidential information and exhibit a high degree of trustworthiness.

This role will work closely with and be managed by the Director of Experiential Marketing.

Duties:

  • Own assigned program from start to finish: drive planning from scope identification to onsite execution of a multi-destination, demo-focused partner experience - acting as the event DRI to stakeholders and leadership.

  • Run global internal briefings and communications for 150+ internal meeting hosts.

  • Tight program management to ensure smooth onsite execution: own deliverables tracking and follow-up, hold stakeholders accountable, escalate risk as needed, facilitate internal team check-ins and external vendor meetings.

  • Arrange and run onsite logistics including demo staffing, badging, and customer meeting registration.

  • Budget ownership: identify accurate program estimates, negotiate contracts, track actuals, and work with Finance, Procurement, Legal, and AP to report, balance, and close sizable budgets

Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 years of in-house experience in B2B events - high-tech or entertainment industry a plus!

  • Deep project management experience - identifying dependencies and timelines, tracking progress, ensuring alignment, and holding folks accountable in a kind but effective manner needs to be your superpower

  • Experience with trade show management or management of demo/tech-focused physical builds

  • Experience with vendor and cross-functional team oversight

  • Must have a no-ego, hands-on approach - you pitch in when and where needed, setting the tone for the rest of the team

  • Exhibits professionalism and composure in stressful situations and can deescalate situations when needed

  • Must be articulate with excellent verbal and written communication skills and skilled at interacting with varied team members, from senior-level executives to onsite support staff

  • Excellent computer skills; highly experienced with production/work platforms like Microsoft Suite (Outlook,PowerPoint, Word and Excel), SmartSheet, Box, Airtable, and event management tools like JiffleNow and SplashThat
