Nexstar Media Group Executive Digital Producer in San Francisco, California

We’re Hiring! Join an amazing team with a legacy brand in San Francisco! Nexstar Media Group, Inc.’s KRON4, The Bay Area’s Local News Station is seeking a creative, motivated, team-first Executive Producer to develop digital marketing and inspire with compelling brand content!

Executive Producer of Digital Marketing will produce digital content for station promotion, local news programs, sales projects and station events. Must be organized and effective in a fast-paced work environment. The Digital Executive Producer works closely with the Creative Services Director, and creative team to visualize and execute new marketing concepts and reimagine existing projects. This position interacts with news and sales staff to conceive, write, shoot, produce, and edit campaigns for digital marketing, independently or as a team. The Executive Producer will produce marketing content suited for each targeted platform, post marketing content on various sites, and manage a digital ad buy. As part of the award-winning KRON4 team, you will be working to elevate and advance the 75-year legacy brand. The Executive Producer will work out of our San Francisco studio on The Embarcadero. This is a regular, full-time, exempt position.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, broadcasting, journalism, or equivalent experience.

  • Three years of related experience.

  • Broadcast experience desired.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conceive, produce, write, shoot, and edit campaigns for digital marketing.

  • Work closely with the creative team to reimagine linear projects for digital use.

  • Work with Creative Directive to advance the brand of the station, crafting comprehensive marketing campaigns, testing and implementing brand messaging for multiple digital platforms, including broadcast.

  • Assists department in helping to manage the station annual calendar inclusive of all marketing activity, and deliverables.

  • Posts marketing content on various online sites and manages digital ad buys.

  • Coordinates and manages compliant contesting on digital platforms, with company vendors and contest winners.

  • Share new techniques with the team and advance department skills with new training when appropriate.

  • Stays current with the competitive landscape, recognizing trends and opportunities.

  • Proposes and creates appropriate marketing styles for diverse projects.

  • Participates in station-sponsored projects to enhance its image and help the community.

Requirements & Job Skills:

  • Must possess an impressive portfolio with highly creative marketing content. An online link to work samples is required.

  • Excellent writing and grammar skills, with attention to detail.

  • Strong interest in social media and marketing applications. Experience as a moderator or admin of a Facebook fan page, X Account, or blog page preferred.

  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite: Adobe XD, Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop or similar.

  • Basic color correction, digital file formats, knowledge of codecs, and aspect ratios.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines while being flexible with changing situations. W illingness to occasionally work extra hours and shifts.

  • Must be open to training while taking direction in style and technique with constructive feedback.

  • Clean driving record with a valid driver’s license to use company vehicle for on-location shoots.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Compensation: $85,000+ to commensurate with experience and skill level
