Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Oversee all maintenance operations and ensure adherence to policies for vehicle and equipment inspection, maintenance, and repair.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and collective bargaining agreements (if applicable).

  • Authorize and arrange procurement of parts, supplies, tools, and machinery.

  • Coordinate contracts for external services not performed in-house.

  • Consult with the Vice President of Fleet and operations management to recommend vehicle and equipment replacement needs.

  • Participate in the budget-making process related to maintenance operations.

  • Conduct periodic inspections and audits of vehicles, equipment, and facilities to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.

  • Identify and address potential safety hazards to protect personnel.

  • Investigate and evaluate causes, extent, and financial impacts of equipment failures and vehicle accidents
