Key job responsibilities

• Apply your technical skills to support the design and implementation of innovative code-based solutions for various GenAI use cases.

• Contribute to the creation and publication of code artifacts, including demos, sample code, and starter projects, to help customers build with AWS GenAI services.

• Assist in establishing coding standards and best practices, collaborating with senior team members to maintain project structure and coding/testing practices.

• Work closely with field team stakeholders, GTM teams, and service teams to understand use cases and explore solution options.

• Share best practices through internal forums, such as AWS blogs and reference architectures, and support team efforts at AWS events.

• Support AWS technical communities by helping create enablement materials and assisting team members in understanding how to integrate AWS GenAI solutions into customer architectures.

A day in the life

The GenAI Labs team is at the forefront of generative AI’s transformative impact on customers and industries. As a GenAI Labs Builder SA, you’ll work on innovative projects, developing high-quality code artifacts such as demos, sample code, and starter projects to inspire our customers. You’ll collaborate with team members to create showcases for new products and features, combining your skills in software development and agility. You’ll also contribute to projects with ambiguous problem statements, working closely with field team stakeholders to develop use cases and solutions. You should be comfortable learning new concepts and tools quickly and contributing across different levels of the GenAI stack. Your role will also include supporting learning content creation and participating in knowledge-sharing sessions with customers and partners.

Basic Qualifications

  • 2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience

  • 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience

  • Understanding of Generative AI and Machine Learning frameworks, concepts, and technologies.

  • Proficiency in CDK, Python, TypeScript and in programming languages and tools relevant to AI/ML and cloud development.

  • Strong communication skills, capable of discussing technical details with engineers and engaging with diverse audiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev/ops perspective

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including field teams, Go-To-Market teams, and product teams.

  • Public speaking skills with a willingness to develop experience presenting at internal and industry events.

  • Ability to support innovation initiatives in evolving and ambiguous environments.

  • Experience working on code-based solutions for various GenAI use cases.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $118,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $204,300/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
