JPMorgan Chase Industry Executive - Healthcare Services - Pacific Region - Middle Market & Specialized Industries - Managing Director in San Francisco, California

As an Industry Executive in Middle Market Banking & Specialized Industries you will lead a team of bankers in their business development efforts to grow and retain profitable banking relationships with Healthcare Services (HCS) clients in the Pacific region. In addition, the Industry Executive partners closely with credit underwriting, treasury sales, client service, and other functional areas inside and outside of the Commercial Bank to deliver products and solutions to clients. You will be expected to maintain a portfolio of your own while leading the banking team, however the portfolio size is typically smaller in recognition of management responsibilities.

Your team will typically include six to eight bankers with indirect oversight over an underwriting staff, a sales/marketing assistant, treasury sales officer and client service professionals.

The HCS team is part of J.P. Morgan's Commercial Bank in it's Innovation Economy (IE) group. IE has team of dedicated and experienced bankers across the globe and serves venture-backed and high-growth companies, startups, founders and venture capital (VC) firms across industries like Technology, Disruptive Commerce, Life Sciences, Climate Tech and HealthTech. J.P. Job Responsibilities

  • Champion a culture of innovation and a customer centric mindset

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Typically a minimum of ten years account relationship management experience with a focus on business relationships

  • Understanding of Commercial Banking products and services with knowledge of the region

  • Experience with Healthcare Services Industry and relevant banking products

  • Ability to mobilize internal networks and resources

  • Demonstrated experience of meeting or exceeding sales goals; proven top individual contributor

  • Management experience in a Commercial Bank setting, specifically leading a commercial lending sales team

  • Sales management and business development skills with proficiency in building and maintaining positive client relationships

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills; able to effectively communicate clearly and concisely

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree and formal credit training preferred

  • Strong technology experience; digital background preferred

  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage, prioritize, work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to establish credibility and strong partnership with senior business and control partners

  • Self-directed, proactive, and creative solution and problem solving abilities: use sound judgment and navigates ambiguity to get things done

  • Flexible to changing business priorities and ability to multitask

  • FINRA securities licenses 79, 63 and 24 required or must obtain within 180 days of hire
