Our client, the leader in the SaaS Identity space has an outstanding Marketing Data Operations Analyst opportunity to join their dynamic team. This is a fully remote role.
Our client is looking for a Marketing Data Operations Analyst to join the Marketing Data Operations & Technology team to deliver a number of key projects for our client. This role will be reporting into the Sr. Manager of Marketing Technology to actively support progress toward our client’s focus on elevating its marketing technology stack.
The Marketing Data Operations & Technology team supports the underlying technologies, integrations and associated data-flows that power the go-to-market organization. Our client has an extensive marketing technology estate and we are undertaking a large-scale project to assess the implementation of the current technology stack against our client’s ambitious growth plans, and enhancing operational efficiency.
Contract Duration: 4-Months
Required Skills & Experience
Required: Experience of managing and working with Openprise at a admin capacity for at least 2+ years
Required: Substantial experience of working with data (either directly, or via APIs) in our client’s core-marketing technologies of Salesforce & Marketo
Required: The individual will be able to demonstrate a strong analytical capability through their previous projects and/or roles
Required: Experience of working in Snowflake / data warehousing solutions combined with a demonstrable knowledge of SQL.
Required: Experience of working with business stakeholders to understand existing workflows, business requirements and translate this into solution design and delivery.
Required: Strong critical thinker and problem solver, with an eye for detail
Desired Skills & Experience
Preferred: Python experience an advantage
Preferred: Candidates with experience of integrating with analytics as well as data orchestration platforms (Openprise, FiveTran, Tableau, Datorama, Google Data Studio/Looker Studio).
What You Will Be Doing
Daily Responsibilities
We have identified a number of core areas where there are opportunities to enhance existing processes and increase efficiencies in the architecture and application of data throughout our client’s Marketing Technology stack.
Openprise: Our client currently use Openprise to orchestrate data between a number of distinct data sources - notably Salesforce & Marketo. The data orchestration covers a number of areas such as:
Record deduplication within the source data sources
Record data enrichment: Delivering field-level updates within the source data systems
Record ownership updates into the source data systems
Data quality and health assessment(s)
Openprise has lacked effective oversight, so we’re looking for an individual who is able able to:
Effectively audit the active and inactive jobs within the current implementation.
Identity and document the impacts of these data orchestration efforts. This will also require the knowledge of and ability to audit the use of data in connected systems, notably Salesforce and Marketo.
Review connected data sources as well as targets and plan and deliver an approach to remove unnecessary data and implement and effective approach to managing data within Openprise, or other tools, moving forwards
Where required, the individual should be able to rebuild and improve any existing jobs where opportunity to do so presents itself.
Our client is actively working to improve their data-quality and database health, so the successful individual should be comfortable in also recommending and building new jobs to support our client to this end.
Openprise represents one of many data-platforms within our client, and the expectation is that the successful individual is well-versed in working across a number of different data-platforms, and core marketing technologies to support our client in this project. Where it is more effective to rebuild jobs / tasks in other systems and technologies, our client may look to take this route based on the inputs from this project.
Success for this initiative would include the delivery:
Clearly documented and delivered audit of the current Openprise implementation.
Successful rebuild, and where appropriate, improvement of existing processes - with delivery focused on understanding and addressing future-facing business needs (either within Openprise, or other more appropriate technologies).
Recommendations and delivery of a number of specific areas of data-orchestration. These processes will include, but are not limited to the below:
Person level deduplication and merging
Supporting database health, quality and enrichment efforts.
Account and lead matching
Well-managed and documented data-orchestration efforts across our client’s marketing technology stack
