JOB DESCRIPTION: Member Services Temporary On-Site Administrator

SUMMARY: The Member Services Temporary On-Site Administrator is responsible for supporting the Credit Union's operations by managing and performing mail duties. This includes handling incoming and outgoing mail, maintaining mail logs, distributing mail to appropriate departments, and assisting with other administrative tasks as needed. The role reports to the Member Services Manager and is intended for a temporary period. We are offering this role at $25 per hour, 8 hours a day.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

· Handles all incoming and outgoing mail, ensuring timely and accurate processing.

· Maintains detailed mail logs, tracking all received and sent correspondence.

· Distributes mail to appropriate departments and staff members promptly.

· Manages postage and shipping supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.

· Provides support for other administrative tasks, such as filing, scanning, and data entry.

· Assists in maintaining a clean and organized mailroom.

· Follows established procedures for handling sensitive and confidential information.

· Supports the team environment by showing respect and support for colleagues and practicing positive workplace communication techniques.

· Completes training programs in accordance with personal development plans.

· Performs other work as requested by the Member Services Manager.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; plus at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous administrative or mailroom experience is preferred.

LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and comprehend verbal and written instructions. Ability to write business communications to members and employees.

REASONING ABILITY: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Basic math skills required for calculating postage and handling mail fees.

COMPUTER SKILLS: Ability to operate a personal computer in a Windows environment. Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.
