Robert Half Office Services Associate in San Francisco, California

Description We are in search of an Office Services Associate to join our team in San Francisco, California. As an integral part of our team, you will be tasked with handling various office duties including answering and transferring calls, sorting mail, and maintaining office cleanliness. This role is situated within the corporate industry and will offer a contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Operate a multi-line phone system to answer and transfer calls efficiently.

• Accept and sort deliveries, maintaining an organized record of incoming mail.

• Handle sensitive and confidential documents and information with discretion.

• Maintain open communication lines with management and clients regarding job or deadline issues.

• Oversee the cleanliness and organization of the office and conference rooms.

• Ensure sufficient office supplies are available and restock as needed.

• Assist in setting up for meetings and cleaning up afterwards.

• Utilize downtime effectively by assisting in the mail room.

• Implement excellent customer service skills to maintain a professional office environment.

• Be proactive in handling additional projects as assigned. Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and communication

• Proven ability to manage office functions and operations effectively

• Familiarity with office procedures and policy implementation

• Experience in answering inbound calls and executing receptionist duties

• Proven skills in supervising and managing team dynamics

• Familiarity with hiring processes and onboarding

• Proficiency in scanning documents and maintaining logs

• Exceptional ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues

• Experience in managing facilities and ensuring they meet quality assurance standards

• Ability to handle deliveries, distribute faxes, and manage paper records

• Proficiency in using office machinery

• Excellent digital communication skills

• Knowledge of 'About Time' and 'R Code' software is a plus

• Ability to maintain a high level of professionalism in all interactions

• Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
