Jacobs Senior Rail & Transit Project Manager in San Francisco, California

We are looking for a Project Manager - Rail & Transit to join our team of dedicated professionals, in one of our Northern CA offices in Oakland, CA or San Francisco, CA are and in one of our Southern CA offices in Irvine, CA or Los Angeles, CA area. As a Project Manager, you’ll have the chance to work on exciting and engaging impactful infrastructure projects with a focus on design, installation as well as testing of rail. Being responsible for project priorities, staffing forecast, and providing quality review, you’ll be able to demonstrate your business acumen both to internal as well as external clients.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

  • Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in the State of California or ability to obtain within 12 month.

  • Demonstrated experience working on successful projects with public agencies in the Los Angeles area.

  • Demonstrate a min of 12 years of experience with rail track, signal, or grade crossing design and construction experience, plus a minimum of 5 years project management experience, to handle project elements such as planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery.

  • Familiarity with rail track, rail signal, or rail grade crossing design and construction

  • Proficiency in planning, coordinating, and handling multiple transit/rail projects within the area of responsibility

  • Working knowledge of federal and state design guidelines.

  • At least 10 years experience leading and assisting with business development and growth strategy development.

  • Strong networks and relationships with clients.

  • Strong communication skills
