Responsibilities:

• Manage tax accounting for diverse funds (hedge funds, private equity, real estate, SPVs).

• Prepare and review tax work papers and returns.

• Calculate estimated taxes and oversee investor tax documents.

• Collaborate with external firms on tax, accounting, and legal matters.

• Address investor tax inquiries with well-researched solutions.

• Coordinate with various departments and external auditors for financial statements.

  Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in public accounting, specializing in Flow-Through Taxation

• Expertise in partnership agreements for hedge and private equity funds

• Proficiency in hedge fund tax matters, including Schedule M-1 computation

• Knowledge of tax issues related to private equity funds, including capital account allocations

• Familiarity with real estate fund tax matters, particularly REIT qualification

• Ability to identify international tax implications and considerations for tax-exempt organizations

• Experience in preparing and reviewing tax work papers and returns

• Skilled in managing tax return preparation for multiple firms

• Strong understanding of complex tax and accounting regulations

• Candidates with a strong GPA and CPA qualification will receive preferential consideration
