Jacobs has a unique opportunity in the Operations and Maintenance business group for a dynamic, savvy and highly motivated Senior Water Treatment Project Manager to support a water treatment project in the San Francisco Bay area, CA. In this role, you'll be responsible for the overall management and leadership of dynamic projects including profit and loss, permit compliance, process control, health and safety, quality, internal/external reporting, and employee supervision and management including staffing, compensation, training, performance management and workforce development. Working with other members of our team, you'll build and maintain positive business and customer relationships, and be responsible for the planning, organization, operations, maintenance and improvement of the facility. You'll also be responsible for implementing health and safety policy and procedures and maintaining the operation process control including compliance with regulatory agencies.

**Qualifications Required: Review carefully. Candidate hired must match all qualifications listed

• Grade V certification in Water Treatment

• 10 plus years of experience in the water wastewater segment with increasing levels of responsibility

• Experience working with, overseeing, and developing other employees and supervisors

• Experience developing budgets, tracking actual expenditures vs budget and variance reporting

• Experience in written and oral presentations

• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook

• Valid driver’s license with no major infractions

Ideally, You’ll Also Have:

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• College degree in a technical or business discipline

• Advanced Water Treatment Certification

• Experience with CMMS Experience with asset management programs

• Experience with SCADA systems

• Capable of working independently and maintaining an orderly schedule

• Understanding of the technical aspects of the facility to be managed

• Demonstrated interpersonal relations and personnel management skills

Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

The work area can involve a working environment indoors, as well as, outdoors which could cause exposure to outdoor elements; proper environmental attire will be required. Some areas can have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, pathogens and various chemicals. Safety is of the utmost importance. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.

Must be able to sit, stand, stoop, twist and bend at the waist, turn, kneel, squat, raise arms above shoulder height, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements and fine coordination when preparing reports and using a computer keyboard, have vision sufficient to read computer screens, printed documents and operate office equipment, have hearing in the normal range with or without correction. In an 8-hour time period must be able to transport self across the facility, ascend and descend stair steps, lift objects up to 50 pounds from floor level to waist height, wear and use appropriate safety equipment.
