Uber Sr Product Manager - Airports Earner Experience in San Francisco, California

About The Role

Do you seek to create magical customer experiences that touch millions of people across the globe? Travel and rides to and from airports represent a big opportunity for Uber. As a Product Manager in the Airports team, you will envision and implement a product strategy and roadmap to enhance the Earner's experience and engagement at airports.

You will define, build, and execute a product vision to delight drivers globally. This role requires deep empathy for Earners, strong analytical skills to understand Uber's marketplace and economics, creativity to design solutions to specific challenges at airports, and excellent stakeholder management to deploy these solutions worldwide.

What You'll Do

  • Product Vision and Roadmap: Develop a vision for airport and travel products, defining a 6-12 month roadmap aligned with broader Earner and marketplace team efforts.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Earner experience, marketplace, and operations, to align business and product strategy.

  • Product Requirements: Translate user needs into product requirements by distilling user problems, writing hypotheses, and describing desired outcomes.

  • Research and Insight Gathering: Conduct quantitative and qualitative research to gain insights and evaluate product performance.

  • Execution: Coordinate with technical teams (data science, engineering, design) to build elegant products.

  • Prioritization: Prioritize stories and features to deliver maximum value to users quickly.

  • Product Planning: Establish three- and six-month plans, defining objectives and key results for the tech squad.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of PM experience delivering highly successful and innovative consumer Internet products.

  • Strong design instincts and product taste.

  • Excellent data-driven prioritization skills, with a deep understanding of building products and working with businesses on prioritization.

  • Strong communication and partnership skills, with the ability to work in a highly cross-functional role across multiple global offices.

  • Experience in UX/UI design.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Passion for hypothesis-driven product development, with a proven track record of using experimentation to grow new businesses (acquisition, engagement, retention, etc.).

  • Strong focus on user experience and system design, with a strategic outlook on product alignment with business scenarios.

  • Customer obsession, demonstrated by a clear track record of delivering elegant solutions for true user problems.

  • An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or equivalent.

  • Deep passion for travel and familiarity with airports, venues, or venue operations.

For San Francisco, CA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year. For Seattle, WA-based roles: The base salary range for this role is USD$174,000 per year - USD$193,500 per year. For all US locations, you will be eligible to participate in Uber's bonus program, and may be offered an equity award & other types of comp. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
