HIRING: Tax Analyst (3-5yrs Experience)

Location: San Francisco

Work Scheme: Hybrid – 3 days in-office/2 days work from home

Compensation: $130-$170k + Bonus + Highly competitive profit sharing

Our client actively seeking an experienced Tax Analyst to join our Corporate Treasury team. As a pivotal player in our team, you will support the tax manager in annual tax compliance, tax research, audits, business registration, and reporting. Our client serves both individual and institutional clients globally, championing singular investment philosophies across a range of focused offerings and have a total AUM of over $300B.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation, computation, and review of federal and state income tax returns

• Preparation and filing of state gross receipts returns

• Resolving tax-related queries and conducting research

• VAT returns filing for China, Germany, and the UK

• Quarterly and annual tax provision computation management

• Support for annual global transfer pricing documentation process

• Preparation of annual business property reports

• Response to information requests from tax authorities

• Maintenance of a fixed asset register and GAAP-compliant depreciation schedules

  Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven high academic and professional accomplishments

• In possession of a CPA credential or in the process of attaining one

• 3-5+ years of tax compliance or consultancy experience

• Familiarity with federal and state income tax laws

• Experience with multi-state pass-through entities strongly preferred

• Competency in advanced tax research databases and Microsoft Excel

• Ability to manage multiple priorities with keen attention to detail

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, and communication skills

• Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
