Key responsibilities

• Use a variety of sources to prepare statements and reports

• Code documents that require knowledge in determining proper classification of expenditure codes and accounting codes

• Handle Accounts Receivable tasks: process daily invoices/credit, apply cash receipt, and help with collection of past due balance

• Support accounts payable: vendor invoices and disbursement filing, A/P invoice matching & filing

• Carry out other related duties and work on special projects as assigned

• Perform general accounting tasks, such as G/L account reconciliation and month-end closing, and other ad hoc projects

• Add financial information to journals and ledgers

• Reconcile discrepancies, and prepare correction documents as needed, by checking all possible sources of disagreement, reconstructing probable actions, and recognizing the effect on other accounts Requirements - AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

• Data entry, document management, file creation and previous records experience required

• Ability to handle multiple tasks to prioritize needs and expedite tasks upon request

• Familiar with Spreadsheet and ERP system

• Accounts Receivable (AR) experience desired

• Knowledge of Administrative Assistance

• Strong familiarity with communication
