Contract Duration: 18 Months

Required Skills & Experience

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role at a large international bank.

  • Hands-on experience with international wires, CHIPS, SWIFT, and book transfers.

  • Demonstrated understanding of independent control testing and regulatory compliance processes.

  • Familiarity with ACH, domestic wires, payments, and settlements.

  • Understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint cycles.

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software.

  • Confident and articulate communicator, capable of interacting with high-level stakeholders and directors.

  • Strong influencer with the ability to self-navigate and work independently.

  • Critical thinker who is willing to question the status quo and engage in constructive disagreements

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Experience in API work

What You Will Be Doing

  • Project Support and Coordination:

  • Collaborate with independent controls testers to ensure comprehensive coverage of all regulatory and control testing activities.

  • Provide support in the planning, execution, and monitoring of project tasks, ensuring alignment with business objectives and regulatory requirements.

  • Act as a liaison between project teams and high-level stakeholders, including Directors, to facilitate effective communication and decision-making.

  • Data Analysis and Reporting:

  • Analyze data related to control testing and provide insights into regulatory compliance and operational efficiency.

  • Prepare and present reports, dashboards, and summaries to senior management and other stakeholders.

  • Stakeholder Management:

  • Engage with stakeholders across various levels of the organization, including Compliance, Risk Management, Operations, and IT.

  • Navigate complex organizational structures and foster a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.

  • Regulatory Compliance and Control Testing:

  • Understand and support the implementation of independent control testing frameworks, ensuring adherence to regulatory standards.

  • Work closely with independent controls testers to validate controls and mitigate risks, particularly in the context of international wires, CHIPS, SWIFT, and book transfers.
