Description We are seeking a Controller to join our team located in San Jose, California. The recruited individual will play a crucial role in leading the establishment and maintenance of our organization's accounting principles, practices, controls, and procedures. This role involves directing various accounting functions, including payroll, pension accounting, accounts payable, and the preparation of financial and regulatory reports.

Responsibilities:

• Direct the establishment and maintenance of the organization's accounting principles, practices, controls, and procedures

• Oversee payroll operations, pension accounting, and accounts payable functions

• Manage all aspects of accounting, including billing, financial statements, general ledger, cost accounting, payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, budgeting, tax compliance, inventory accounting, cost accounting, and revenue recognition

• Responsible for the accurate monthly closing of accounting records of all consolidated entities

• Oversee the preparation of annual corporate tax returns and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements

• Direct the development and monthly review of financial records utilized for input into financial statements

• Responsible for financial statement preparation and related audits of retirement benefit plans

• Collaborate with auditors on various comprehensive audits and strive for clean audit results

• Formulate and promote strong accounting policies and conformity with GAAP

• Manage and train direct reports to maximize productivity, efficiency, and the potential of the department

• Responsible for accurate allowance for loan loss calculations and forecasts

• Oversee the preparation and management of the Accounting Department budget

Skills:

• Proficiency in 3M, Accounting Software Systems, ADP - Financial Services, CRM, Crystal Reports

• Experience in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Auditing, and Budget Processes Requirements

• Experience with Accounting Software Systems

• Knowledge of ADP - Financial Services

• Familiarity with CRM

• Understanding of Accounting Functions

• Experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proficiency in Auditing

• Familiarity with Budget Processes

• Ability to perform all tasks without violating any discriminatory terms or phrases.
