What You’ll Do

Cisco is looking for a Senior Technical Leader with a strong background in Kubernetes (K8s) and platform building, proficient in Golang, and possessing a good understanding of security practices. The ideal candidate will lead technical teams, drive platform development, and ensure robust, scalable, and secure solutions.

You can design, implement, and manage Kubernetes clusters to support our applications and services. You can collaborate with multi-functional teams to design and implement secure and efficient systems. You have developed high-quality code in Golang, ensuring performance and reliability. You drive the adoption of standard methodologies in code quality, testing, and deployment while staying ahead with industry trends and integrate relevant technologies to enhance our platform

Our minimum qualifications for this role:

  • 8+ years of relevant development experience in Go.

  • Proven experience in leading technical teams and projects.

  • Strong expertise in Kubernetes (K8s) and platform development.

  • Good hands-on experience with Ubuntu.

  • Proficiency in Golang programming language.

  • Solid understanding of security principles and practices is a plus.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical collaborators.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Our Preferred Qualifications for this role:

  • Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.

  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools.

  • Experience in containerization and orchestration technologies.
