Opportunity Overview

We are looking for a Firmware Engineering Intern to join us at our San Jose, CA facility for summer 2025. In your role as Firmware Engineering Intern, you will be an integral part of a world-class team designing the best wireless test equipment for WIFI and cellular products. You will be working with cross-functional teams such as hardware, firmware, and software to define the FW and FPGA functionality, create custom specifications, test the design, and perform the system integration test.

  • Develop multiplatform test design for LifePoint’s new products.

  • Develop System test design specifications, communicate and verify these specifications with the RF/FW designers, and implement them in a timely and high-quality manner.

  • Assist software engineering during the integration phase and debug flow problems.

  • Develop and own functional blocks to be used on multiple platforms.

  • Hands-on debug capability using lab equipment.

  • Working on a BSEE or MSEE

  • Knowledge of working with Embedded HW architecture, implementation, and verification.

  • Experience building tools in a full stack environment

  • Successfully completed designs that have gone into production.

  • Understanding of telecommunication theory.

  • Successfully build verification, test benches, and testing environments for new features.

  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a variety of personnel and cultures.
