We are seeking a skilled back-end developer to join our IBM Software team. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-quality software products, working with a variety of technologies and programming languages.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key member of our dynamic team, you will play a vital role in crafting exceptional software experiences. Your responsibilities will encompass the design and implementation of innovative features, fine-tuning and sustaining existing code for optimal performance, and guaranteeing top-notch quality through rigorous testing and debugging. Required Technical and Professional Expertise

• 2-5 years' experience in software development

• 1-3 years of working experience with JAVA / C++/ Python / JavaScript, other languages also considered.

• Strong programming skills in C/C++ and Java.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes for containerization and deployment.

• Proficiency in SQL for efficient database operations. Strong knowledge of Unix and its command-line tools.

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies.

• Exceptional knowledge of data structures, algorithms, enterprise systems, asynchronous architectures, and object-oriented programming

• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
