You'll be the internal voice of the customer, collaborating with cross-functional teams to build strong relationships and deliver premier quality experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Track and coordinate customer metrics, coordinating overall quality management for Solid State Drives (SSD) including LRR/VLRR, DOA, Warranty, and quality issue handling at customer sites.

  • Apply your background in electrical and electronics engineering to ensure customer product quality and reliability meet Micron's exceptionally high standards.

  • Collaborate closely with customers and their Supplier Quality Engineering (SQE) teams to address and resolve quality and reliability issues.

  • Supervise and identify quality and reliability challenges, developing strong customer relationships as you determine the best solutions.

  • Assess customer needs and drive the implementation of the best technical standards internally to compete in the market.

  • Communicate customer issues to internal engineering and manufacturing teams to maintain alignment on quality and reliability.

  • Prepare weekly quality data and participate in weekly quality review meetings with customers. Represent Micron as the primary quality representative at quarterly business reviews.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Proven functional knowledge of the various components of SSDs (Memory, Firmware, System, ASIC, DRAM) to correlate failures in the customer ecosystem to the SSD.

  • In-depth knowledge of semiconductor fabrication processes and backend assembly operations to ensure quality gates are strictly implemented and the highest quality products are shipped to customers.

  • Outstanding presentation skills to effectively convey quality status both internally to executive management and externally to customers.

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$136,000.00 - $288,500.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
