Filius Corporation Supervisor for Financial Services Technician in San Jose, California

A Secret Security Clearance is required for this position. While Filius Corporation will sponsor hires in obtaining this clearance, only US citizens (naturalized citizenship is acceptable) can be considered.

Filius is seeking a Supervisor for the Financial Services Technician on an upcoming contract with the United States Air Force (USAF). The position will oversee the Travel Pay Processing-Ellsworth team at Ellsworth Air Force Base (AFB) in South Dakota. This is a fully on-site position near Box Elder, SD without a remote work option.

The Supervisor will serve as Site Lead being the primary Point of Contact for USAF program officials, Filius leadership, and direct reports with regards to team personnel actions, including onboarding, training, discipline, communication, security, and employee workplace concerns.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of one (1) year of managing 18+ personnel in a production based environment. The one (1) year experience within the past five (5) years.
  • Able to work under the pressure of established production deadlines.
  • Manager or supervisory training certification
  • High school diploma or greater

Supervisor Responsibilities

  • Serve as the focal point for personnel actions.
  • Identifies and coordinates developmental and training needs of personnel.
  • Supervises and addresses conduct and work problems.
  • Obtains and compiles status of work performance.
  • Administers disciplinary measures such as warning, reprimands, terminations and is responsible for cultivating a work environment free from all forms of discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
  • Addresses subordinates concerns and follow up with appropriate action to correct or eliminate tension in the workplace.
  • Communicates and enforces policies, procedures, mission objectives and organization design as necessary to eliminate work problems or barriers to mission accomplishment, promote teambuilding, implement quality improvements, or in response to concerns with regulatory compliance and customer requirements.
  • Ability to collaborate with clients and manage personnel functional efforts.
  • Identifies and coordinates with Travel Pay Processing-Ellsworth leadership on developmental and training needs of personnel.
  • Makes decisions on staff conduct and/or work problems presented by supervisors, including administering appropriate disciplinary actions and initiating improvement plans and activities.
  • Serve as the liaison between personnel and the Security Manager concerning all security and personnel clearance needs.
