Role Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Systems Design/Architect Engineer to join our exceptional engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing open- and closed-loop system performance analysis of new advanced architectures in comparison with existing paradigms. Collaborating with both internal engineering teams and external customers, you will optimize and characterize new device components, features, and novel system architectures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Performs open- and closed-loop system performance analysis of new advanced architectures in comparison with existing paradigms

  • Works with internal engineering teams and external customers to optimize and characterize new device components and features as well as novel system architectures

  • Construct or modify component models, including memory devices, controllers, interconnects, and processors

  • Verify, generate, or acquire relevant workloads for performance evaluation

  • Construct performance monitoring

  • Collaborate with RTL and verification engineers to ensure designs are realized properly

  • Conduct block-level to full system-level modeling, analysis, and benchmarking

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • Proven experience in system performance analysis and optimization

  • Strong knowledge of simulation tools and environments

  • Familiarity with component modeling and verification

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$79,000.00 - $211,000.00

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training. The pay scale is subject to change depending on business needs. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process. Additional compensation may include benefits, discretionary bonuses and equity.
