The Associate VP, Brokerage Sales will accommodate carrier-agnostic relationships and lead various program initiatives such as retail store staffing and Broker Select Agent (BSA) transitions into IFG Brokerage Sales from Humana’s employed channel. The AVP will be accountable for achieving new sales growth targets on Humana products, agent recruitment and retention objectives, and revenue generation from non-Humana product sales through the IFG Brokerage. The AVP will be responsible for overseeing the growth and recruitment of agents and building additional brokerage infrastructure to support sales and growth.
The Associate VP, Brokerage Sales is directly responsible for developing, selling, and then activating strategies with multi-year time horizons of impact. In addition to the role’s direct responsibilities, this position will work directly with the Segment President, Senior Vice Presidents, and Vice Presidents to influence enterprise investments, execute sales and retention strategies, drive associate engagement, and develop talent. The Associate VP, Brokerage Sales leads a team of 8-10, as well as a total organization size between 40-50 individuals. Decisions are typically related to strategy development, executing, identifying, and resolving complex technical and operational problems within departments, and leading highly specialized professional associates.

Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
8 or more years of relevant technical experience
5 or more years of people management experience
Must have or be able to obtain a Health & Life Insurance and all appropriate state licenses
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree
Active Health & Life Insurance Licenses
Medicare or Insurance industry experience

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$160,800 - $221,100 per year
This job is eligible for a commission incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
