Process Improvement Specialized Internship 2025

The Process Improvement Specialized Internship is a full-time summer experience for college students in their penultimate or final year undergraduate and recent graduate that combines a real work experience with professional development activities focused on process improvement.

For 10 weeks, interns will work on projects performing activities such as time studies, statistical data analysis, process mapping, among others.

  El internado especializado en Mejora de Procesos es una experiencia de verano a tiempo completo para universitarios en su penúltimo o último año de estudios de subgraduado y recién graduados que combina una experiencia laboral real con actividades de desarrollo profesional enfocadas en la mejora de procesos.

  Durante 10 semanas, los pasantes trabajarán en proyectos realizando actividades como estudios de tiempo, análisis estadísticos de datos, mapeo de procesos, entre otros.

Requirements:

The ideal candidates must:

• Be studying Industrial Engineering

• Must be completing their penultimate or final year of undergraduate studies, graduating in 2025 or having graduated in 2024.

• Authorization to work in U.S. and territories

• Have a GPA of 3.00 or more

• Hava availability to work full-time for 10 weeks during summer

  Los candidatos ideales deben:

• Estar estudiando Ingeniería Industrial.

• Estar completando su penúltimo o último año de estudios de subgraduado, graduándose en 2025 o habiéndose graduado en 2024. -Tener autorización para trabajar en EE. UU. y territorios.

• Tener un GPA de 3.00 o más.

• Tener disponibilidad para trabajar a tiempo completo durante 10 semanas en los meses de verano.

Other Qualifications

• Experience with tools such as Minitab, Power BI, Excel, and/or any other data analysis and visualization platform.

• Ability to research and synthesize relevant information

• Previous internship experience in project management or process improvement using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma is preferred.

• Excellent communication skills and proficiency of the English and Spanish language, both oral and written.

• Excellent interpersonal relationships, and ability to work and interact with different teams to collaborate with other business units.

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Being driven and curious to understand and solve complex problems is a must

• Preferably completed the following courses: Probability and Statistics, Work Measurement, Quality Control, and Cost Analysis and Control

• Tener experiencia utilizando herramientas como Minitab, Power BI, Excel y/o cualquier otra plataforma de análisis y visualización de datos.

• Capacidad para investigar y sintetizar información relevante.

• Experiencia previa en manejo de proyecto o mejora de procesos utilizando metodologías como Lean Six Sigma preferiblemente.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y dominio del idioma inglés y español, tanto oral como escrito.

• Excelentes relaciones interpersonales y capacidad para trabajar e interactuar con diferentes equipos de otras unidades de negocio.

• Excelentes habilidades de comunicación y presentación.

• Ser proactivo y curioso para entender y resolver problemas complejos es imprescindible.

• Preferiblemente haber completado los siguientes cursos: Probabilidad y Estadística, Medición de Trabajo, Control de Calidad y Análisis y Control de Costos.
