About the Role:

Aveva Finance team is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support our Pi Business US operation to support the month end close, requests from audit and tax, intercompany transactions and potential migration to a new ERP system. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of US GAAP, proven experience in scaling processes, and the ability to build strong relationships with cross-functional partners.

Responsibilities:

• Interact with various functions within the group.

• Support the Finance Manager in general accounting process, consolidation, Group Reporting package

• Assist month-end close and preparation of monthly general journal accounting activities, including bank reconciliations, cash roll forward, investments, prepaids, and various expense accruals and balance sheet accounts reconciliations.

• Collaborate with Finance team members to ensure timely and accurate analysis and posting to the correct functions.

• Assist with internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules and reviewing outstanding items/PBC lists; liaise with auditors in designated areas to ensure smooth and efficient audit.

• Partner cross-functionally with Accounts Payable, Cash Applicants to establish best practices, as well as assist with ongoing process refinement to improve the efficiency and accuracy of General Ledger accounting and reporting.

• Work closely with business partners and Corporate Group Accounting worldwide to understand changes in the business which impact US GAAP accounting areas.

• Assume new responsibilities, perform ad hoc projects, and process improvements, as necessary.

• Support ERP Oracle implementation, processes harmonization with parent company.

Qualifications

• At least four years of experience supporting business financial operations

• A degree in Accounting/Finance or related degree.

• Good working knowledge of ERP environment - SAP/ Oracle.

• Experience working and relating with internal stakeholders.

• Experience with international finance environment.

• Good knowledge of MS Office.

• Fluent in English

Salary Range:

$100,500.00 - $167,500.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
