  • Strong organizational skills with experience in scheduling tasks, writing and managing tickets, task prioritization, and tracking.

  • Proven ability to act as a liaison between design and development teams, ensuring clear and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

  • Experience executing and analyzing user research, including interviews, surveys, card sorts, and usability tests to iterate on product functionality.

  • Demonstrated experience in facilitating discussions between users, stakeholders, and project teams to gather and incorporate feedback.

  • Experience with web technologies and understanding of the software development lifecycle.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation.

  • Ability to translate non-technical user requests into technical requirements.

  • Familiarity with accessibility guidelines ( WCAG , Section 508) and assistive technologies.

  • Agile certification (e.g., Certified Scrum Master).

  • Direct experience with contracting and procurement processes in higher education.

  • Familiarity with student support services and administrative processes in higher education.

  • Proficiency in HTML and CSS .

  • Knowledge of higher education legislation (e.g., FERPA , Title IX).

  • Familiarity with project management methodologies beyond Agile (e.g., Waterfall, Lean)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled project coordinator to help improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our software design and development workflows. In this role you will help coordinate custom development projects and administer applications, working collaboratively with the department’s DevOps, UX, interface design, and support teams. On a typical day, you will troubleshoot configuration issues, collect user feedback to enhance features, and provide consultation and training services to the campus community to contribute to the university’s administrative, research, and student success goals.

Job Duties

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Prepare clear and effective project documentation and application usage reports.

  • Develop and maintain effective and collaborative business relationships.

  • Lead requirements gathering meetings and document client and stakeholder expectations.

  • Work with developers to create incremental milestones to track project progress.

  • Conduct quality assurance testing with users and coordinate client and stakeholder sign-off.

  • Conduct and communicate lessons learned.

  • Assist in installation, configuration, and maintenance of web and mobile applications.

  • Develop user guides and other support resources.

  • Develop and conduct user training.

  • Conduct user interviews, develop surveys, and participate in other data collection activities.

  • Identify, communicate, resolve, and/or escalate problems and issues.

  • Implement quality improvement activities.

Additional Information to Applicants

This position is eligible for a partial remote work schedule. There is also some work schedule flexibility within normal business hours (Monday – Friday, between 7am and 6pm). Eligibility is dependent on performance.
