Description

We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for an Administrative Assistant in San Ramon, California. The successful candidate will be a key player in our accounting department, with responsibilities including data entry, document scanning, and use of Microsoft Excel, among other tasks. This role is situated in a fast-paced, dynamic workplace environment within the telecom provider industry.

Administrative Assistant responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the company's accounting procedures

• Maintain and update customer credit records on a regular basis to ensure accuracy

• Resolve customer credit inquiries in a timely and efficient manner to maintain customer satisfaction

• Monitor customer credit accounts regularly and take appropriate actions to collect delinquent payments

• Use Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting as part of the accounting function

• Perform data entry tasks to update the accounting system with the latest information

• Scan and photocopy documents as necessary for record-keeping and compliance purposes

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth running of the accounting department

• Adhere to industry and company policies and procedures in all tasks.

The qualified candidate must be able to work overtime during the busy tax season and must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. Experience in the accounting field is preferred.

Requirements • Proficiency in the use of E1040 software

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and charts

• Ability to perform data entry tasks with high accuracy and speed

• Experience in document scanning and photocopying

• Familiarity with scanning documents and maintaining digital filing systems

• Basic understanding of accounting principles

• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

• Good written and verbal communication skills

• Ability to handle confidential information professionally and discreetly

• Willingness to collaborate with team members and other departments when needed

• Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and manage time effectively.
