We are currently hiring a Manager Accounting Consolidations who will provide team and technical leadership while interfacing with other departments as necessary to ensure timing and accuracy of close activities. The Manager Accounting Consolidations manages the team responsible for the GL and relevant Subledger monthly close activities. They oversee month end activities including journal entries and reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies, and they are responsible for SOX controls compliance within General accounting. This person will ensure accounting practices and transactions are compliant with US GAAP and corporate policies while interfacing with internal and external auditors. They will provide insight into actual results to support executive management analysis and external reporting. Given the dependencies on upstream systems/departments, this position influences resources and efforts across several departments to ensure timely reporting of the company's financial results. This requires broad-based, in-depth knowledge of multiple accounting disciplines.

The Manager Accounting Consolidations communicates, collaborates, and effectively works with cross functional departments across the enterprise to ensure timing and accuracy of close activities, consistent and practical application of accounting policies, awareness of HR benefits updates and related accounting implications, and impacts of updates to financial systems to support proper accounting. This person provides leadership guidance, direction, and support to improve business process and promote a culture of innovation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.

  • High level understanding of US GAAP, SEC reporting requirements/guidelines, and Sarbanes-Oxley Act.

  • 5+ years accounting experience. Public accounting experience preferred. Progressive experience in previous roles, demonstrating leadership potential and capacity.

  • MS Office, including Intermediate/Advanced skills in Excel; Financial ERP experience (Workday Financials a plus).

  • CPA strongly preferred.

The typical annual salary range for this position is shown below and is negotiable depending upon experience and location. The position is eligible for a discretionary annual bonus.

$96,000.00 - $147,000.00
